Wood Textures - Part 2

Concept: Making texture in Adobe Photoshop is a fun. You have lots of scope to experiment with filters, even third party plugins and retouching commands. The end result must have the realistic look. Here we have created ply type wood related effect using simple filters. We even have created the realistic knot structure. You have to select proper color for this types of effects else you may end up with something that is far from the reality.

1. Make it more effective and real

2. Open the Wood Texture with motion Blur

3. Select Ellipse tool and draw small horizontal ellipse somewhere in the middle.

4. Filter > Distort > Twirl (Angle 150)

5. Press Ctrl +D to deselect
