Concept: Ice effect is a combination of different commands and tools. You can experiment with filters and filter inputs to get proper result. Adobe Photoshop comes up with wide range of tools to generate astonishing effects. These types of text effects can be used mainly for the special types of titles. Try to work with filters to get realistic ice effect and use proper colors. Consider this as a guideline and go ahead with your own procedure.

1. Create new file with 72 PPI and white background. The mode has to be Grayscale. Type the text with thick font.

2. Select > Load Selection

(Choose Layer Transparency)

3. Layer > Flatten Image

4. Select > Inverse

5. Filter > Pixelate > Crystallize (cell size 10)

Select > Inverse

7. Noise > Add Noise

(Uniform, Monochromatic, Amount 70)

8. Blur > Guassian blur (Radius 2.0)

9. Press Ctrl + D to deselect

10. Image > Adjust > Invert

Image > Mode > RGB

Image > Adjust > Hue Saturation

13. Click Colorize

14. Drag the Hue slider to 210
