Stone Texture
Software : Photoshop 6.0
Level : Intermediate

  .

Concept: This is a different type of stone texture lesson designed using Adobe Photoshop where we have used simple steps of filters and tonal balance commands. You can experiment with tonal balance techniques as we have used single clicked auto commands in this lesson. You can try more subtle tools for this purpose. These types of textures can be used for backgrounds, web layouts and presentations.

1. This effect is sometimes called Rocky Texture. Create new file with 72 PPI and white background.

2. Select light gray for foreground and dark gray (near to black) for background.
