Frame by Frame Part 2

Concept: The lesson is designed using flash software which is a premium software for web animation. For a creative person, sky is the limit when he uses flash. The software provides lots of option for drawing and filling the colors to create the static object and then add life to it using animation techniques. Its amazing to fill yje life in otherwise still object and move it across the stage. The reusability of flash symbols make the animation light like a feather. Try to use these tips and tricks as a guideline and explore the world of creativity.

1. You need to create the tube and the object to travel through it in this project.

2. Create a new file.

View > Rulers

View > Grid > Show Grid

View > Grid > Edit Grid (10 X 10 px)

3. Drag the horizontal & vertical guide lines to get the center.

View > Guides > Lock Guides

4. Create the tube like structure as shown using Line Tool.

5. Drag the Arrow Tool from 40 to 1 st frame to select the segment.

6. Modify > Frames > Convert to Key frames

7. All the frames will be converted into key frames.

8. Select 1st frame. Deselect the selection in the artwork by pressing Esc key.

Now we will draw the object, made up of rectangle which will travel through the tube.

9. Draw a small rectangle using Rectangle Tool at the starting point of the tube. Keep the length of the object fixed.

10. Using > key move to the next frame. With the advancement of each frame draw the rectangle ahead with the constant increment.

11. At the turning point draw the object as shown in the above figure.

12. Save the file.
