Concept

Using sponge tool with desaturate mode gives us grayscale photograph.

1. Open an image for grayscale output.

2. Select Sponge Tool from the tool box.

3. Change the mode to Desaturate in the option bar and use hard edged brush.

4. Start painting on the image till you get the following result.
