Concept

Desaturate converts the image into grayscale without changing the mode. This is done by assigning the equal Red, Green and Blue value to each pixel in the RGB image.

1. Open an image to apply photoshop Desaturate Command

2. Image> Adjustments > Desaturate

3. You will get the grayscale image as follows.
